Privacy Policy

Veya is a private app for two paired partners to share their presence — a status, short notes, and photos that appear on each other's Lock Screen. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Information we collect

• Account: your email address, used only to sign you in (via Apple or email).
• Profile: your name, profile photo, and optionally your gender and birthday.
• Shared content: the status, notes, photos ("moments"), and pokes you send — visible only to the partner you are paired with.
• Device token: a push notification token, so we can deliver Live Activity updates and pokes to your partner's device.
• Purchase status: whether you have an active Veya Plus subscription (managed by Apple; we do not see your payment details).

How we use it

• To run the core experience: pairing you with your partner and delivering your shared presence to their device.
• To provide subscription features.
• We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps or websites.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored securely on our backend provider (Supabase). Profile photos and shared photos are kept in private storage accessible only to you and your partner.

Sharing

The content you create is shared only with your paired partner. We use Apple Push Notification service to deliver updates. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes.

Your choices

• Unpair at any time to stop sharing with a partner.
• Delete your account from within the app — this removes your profile, shared content, and associated data.

Children

Veya is not directed to children. You must meet your region's minimum age to create an account.
